Hundreds of Motorcyclists Ride from Albany to Manhattan in Remembrance of 9/11 Victims
When September rolls around on the calendar once again and you get a little bit past the first week of the month, it’s pretty crazy to think about the fact that the eleventh day of September that would change the date on the calendar forever would be 16-years-old this year. It’s pretty crazy to think about the fact that a good amount of high school kids weren’t even alive for that day where airplanes would strike the World Trade Center. It was a day that was beyond our beliefs and definitely, a day that’s important to reflect on and remember as tons of people had lost their lives in the situation.
Now, even though it’s all of these years later, people are still looking back on the event and giving thanks to those who attempted to come to the rescue and cleanup the scene on that fateful day and also to remember those who have lost their lives. In this situation, we check out a motorcycle cruise that aims to commemorate all of the events of that day all of those years ago. Hundreds of motorcycle riders came out to commemorate the date and it’s a nice thing to see for all of those who were directly affected by the happenings on 9/11/2001.

It’s really heartwarming to see that people are still able to come together over the event all of these years later and unite as Americans in the day and age where everything seems to be trying to push us apart. When tragedy like this strikes, it really reminds us of just how good we’ve got it in the fact that people still get together to remember it today and it just gives us a little refresher to be thankful for all that we have as we live here in America today.
