Immaculate Hand Built Miniature Chevrolet Nova
Here’s something you don’t see everyday… A mini-Nova. The Nova was Chevy’s smaller vehicle option for families, but if that wasn’t enough for you, this creation should be just right. The Miniature Nova is a tube chassis car with a fiberglass body and doors. For running gear, it packs a Kawasaki zx12r fuel-injected engine, 6-speed transmission and Toyota 8-bolt rear diff. It has a Mustang front suspension and in the rear fender you can fit a 26×14 tire.
It looks pretty cool as is, but we think it’d be even cooler as a Murder Nova tribute with the weld wheels and fat tires out back! The owner claims that it is “super fast and tons of fun,” but we wonder what that really means. Somebody buy this thing and take it to your local strip please!
185 horsepower may not sound like much, but with the lightweight fiberglass body and suspension, we’re sure this thing will get down the road no issue! In the craigslist ad, he even said that he would take it to an SCCA autocross event. Do you think this lightweight Nova would be the Miata killer everybody’s been waiting for?
