Initial D Arcade Game With REAL Cars
Initial D arcade game with real cars at Sega Joypolis Tokyo
If you’re unfamiliar with Initial D, it started out as a drifting based Japanese magazine cartoon series and evolved to include an anime TV series and eventually a full length film and all of the side kicks that go with it, including this game.
In this video, we’re shown an arcade game based off of the series that features two real live cars to go along with the simulation.
The player can choose from three cars featured in the story including the Fujiwara Toyota AE-86 Trueno, the FD Mazda RX-7 driven by Keisuke Takahashi, or Bunta’s Subaru Impreza.
We would imagine that this game would be quite expensive to put together, but it looks like it may just be fun enough to be worth it!
