J.R. Pines Wins on the Back Tires in his Mustang at Lights Out 8!!!
In the world of drag racing, there are few scenarios that give you a feeling that’s really hard to explain. They just come along and take your breath away, making you watch in awe as a driver lays it all out there on the track and never looks back as he or she completely puts it all on the line during a pass.
This time, we check in with the events from this past weekend at Lights Out 8 as a Ford Mustang piloted by JR Pines makes a pass and ends up doing something that made the entire crowd stop and stare, forgetting about the world around them as they became locked into what was happening in front of them – a rare occurrence in the age of the smartphone.
Sure, we see wheelies from time to time, but there aren’t too many that end up looking like this. Usually, lifting up the front end your car this high is a formula for a loss as the goal is to get your car to plant on all fours and go but when Pines lifted his front end up, that wasn’t the case. Instead, JR would stick with the pass, coming back down and pulling the nose of the car back up again as he would manage to slash through the finish line on two wheels and even managed to take home the win.
Check out the footage below that shows the spectacular pass that had this driver using all of his wheel skills to power right on through the adversity and take home victory. This is most definitely an example of a video that you could just sit there and watch over and over again.
