Jeff Lutz New 1957 Chevy is One BAD Machine! Take a Look at his First Pass!
When we’re talking about some of the fastest to make their way down the drag strip, you can always count on the fact that Jeff Lutz is going to be toward the top of the pack. It always just turns out that he brings top-of-the-line machines to competition and his driving skills just add icing on the cake. Watching this guy make his way down the track is certainly a lot of fun for spectators and fellow racers alike, that is, unless they’re tasked with lining up next to him because in that case, it’s definitely going to be a long, hard climb to the top!
In this one, we get the chance to watch as Lutz takes yet another one of his creations up to bat in an incredible 1957 Chevy that’s an incredible drag racing machine to watch in action. With someone like Lutz behind the wheel, you know that it’s about to be poetry in motion when the 540-inch big block and pair of 98mm turbos spool to life and really sing their way down the racing surface and poetry it was upon the car’s initial pass as the Tri-five Nationals out in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Follow along with the video down below that takes you on the scene as these this wild and rowdy machine takes a crack at its first public appearance that’s going to have you raring and ready to see what this thing has in store for Drag Week this year! There’s just something about the screaming exhaust and wooshing of the turbos that really makes this in-your-face yellow machine even all that much more impressive.
If one thing is for sure, it’s that Jeff Lutz really knows how to make a car lay down the law on the strip. It’ll be interesting to see how this thing progresses as it sees more and more track time.
