Jeff Lutz overcomes adversity and wins Hot Rod Drag Week 2016!

After a huge effort to come back from losing a spindle and an entire wheel while going to a race track, the man the myth the legend Jeff Lutz has won Hot Rod Drag Week 2016. This win is huge for him as last year he had tons of problems and had to leave the event on the second day. Jeff averaged 6.1918 at 240.018 MPH, this is an all time quickest average at drag week. Although he is excited to win this isn’t his first rodeo, he won drag week back in 2014 with his nasty 57 Chevy.

Jeffs quickest pass happen in Martin Michigan which came after he rebuilt the front suspension on the side of the road as you can see in the picture below. He still hopes to reach that 5 second pass as he was unable to get it this year. Maybe next year Jeff!
