Jeff Lutz Pulls One Wild Wheelstand at Outlaw Street Car Reunion!

Drag Week legend Jeff Lutz bolted up a set of small tires on his Mad Max Camaro and went radial racing this weekend at the Outlaw Street Car Reunion in Memphis Tennessee.

With Tyler Crossnoe pouring his heart and soul into the track prep, traction has been more than abundant for the racers in Radial vs the World, and Lutz experienced first hand just how good the track was when he powered into a massive wheelstand during Friday qualifying. Mad Max looked to be on a solid run when the power came in around the 90′ mark and the nose of the swoopy first gen Camaro headed skyward, causing Jeff to quickly pedal the throttle and bring the car safely back to earth.

Lutz and his team figured out the power/weight balance later in the evening when he blasted to his first 3-second run on small tires, a 3.98 ET that has him qualified comfortably in the 16-car field!
