Larry Larson Takes Down Kye Kelly, Birdman and More For Big Tire Win!

Even for the most casual drag racing fans, there’s a good chance that they have caught wind of Larry Larson. With his expertise with the fastest of fast machines, Larson has been able to build some of the most insane cars you have ever seen on tracks or streets around the country. You might remember his Chevrolet S10 as the one that sets a couple of records as it would become the first street legal vehicle to ever hit the five-second range in a quarter mile. No matter who you are or what you regard to be a street car, that’s an impressive thing to do. It’s hard for most people to crack into the fives in an eighth mile let alone doing it in a quarter mile!

Now that we know that with the truck is capable of, this time, we watch it in actual competition. It’s one thing to be fast alone but it’s another thing to be fast and consistent while there’s another person in the other lane over is also trying to beat you off of the light and take home that win light. In this one, Larson is put to the test as he takes on the likes of Kye Kelley, Birdman, and more as he throws down in a big tire class and looks to take home all the marbles. It certainly doesn’t shock us to see him in the winter circle yet again as Larson has become quite the familiar face to grab victory.
