Lights Out 10 LIVE Feed, Duck X Productions!
It’s Sunday, day number four of Lights Out X! We’re on the property at South Georgia Motorsports Park, where qualifying is underway under beautiful, cool conditions. The track prep team has the surface on kill and the cars are putting up some great numbers.
The highlight of the weekend so far has been Tim Slaven’s record-smashing 3.621 at 217 MPH, establishing him as the quickest man on radials and inching the class just a tad closer to the 3.50’s. Buzz has been building over the past few weeks if we would see a pass in the 50’s this weekend, and Slavens has certainly ratcheted the chatter to a whole new level.
Also, Kevin Rivenbark has the ProCharged ProLine Pro Mod Camaro looking like a contender to dip into the 3.50’s with a pair of mid-3.60 passes in the first two sessions. With the whole ProLine brain trust on the property working on the tune, this car could easily step up and be the one to break the barrier. Alex Laughlin and tuner Frankie Taylor have the Speed Society ‘Vette on kill as well laying down a 3.69 in last nights session to put himself in the #3 spot. With Taylor calling the shots and the car solidly qualified, look for Laughlin and company to take a shot at the 3.50’s as well before qualifying is over.
Texan Jeff Sitton has his Camaro currently sitting in 4th with a 3.699, and Missouri native Daniel Pharris has his GT350 Mustang sitting in the #5 spot with a 3.711, just ahead of Justin “Little Country” Swanstrom’s 3.173 from his nitrous-huffing hotrod.
As always, we will keep you updated on the major goings-on throughout the weekend. Below you can find a mirror of the Live Feed, brought to you this weekend by the guys over at SpeedVideo. If you can’t make the trip, this is definitely the next best way to experience this awesome event!
