Little Dude And His Power Wheels Bring Food To The Farm Animals
Growing up in Alabama, many of my family and friends are farmers or worked on farms, so this little man would fit right in here at home and to be honest, if I didn’t check to see beforehand, I would not have been the least bit surprised to find out this kid was from right here in the Yellowhammer State.
One thing I learned early on about farmers is that they aren’t afraid of hard work. While many may assume what you see in the movies and on television is cliche, I can verify that most all of them do, in fact, wake up before sunrise, work their butts off all day long, and don’t come out of the field until it’s dark again. While many modern implements do have creature comforts, there is still plenty of work around the farm that required back-breaking manual labor and they do it without complaint or hesitation, because they know their family’s livelihood depends on it.
If you need proof that they learn these habits at a young age, look no further than the video below, where you will find a confident young farmhand doing one of his daily chores: feeding the cattle. Like any real farmer, this little fella has a fully capable pickup truck with a trailer custom built to haul a bale of hay out to the corral.
You can tell that despite his young age – I’m guessing he’s just 4 or 5 years old – he has obviously spent enough time around these cattle, which are many times his size and weight. He has no hesitation in walking around the trailer and shooing them away while he tends to his job of letting the ramps down so they can reach the bale from all angles.
I know grown men who would be a little skittish in such close quarters with these huge bovine creatures, but this little dude just shushes them away, resorting to a swat with his arm when his verbal commands go ignored.
If this video doesn’t bring a smile to your face, you may just be broken and should consider visiting a doctor or therapist!
