Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Transformed Into Ultimate Rat Rod Go Kart

With creativity behind the wheel, the number of ways to put together a masterpiece is truly endless. If someone has a keen vision for what they want, they can take just about any platform and transform it into something amazing. In this particular case, that platform just so happens to be a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe. Yes, you heard us right. We’re talking about those small cars designed for small children. You know, the red ones with the yellow roof.

On the surface, these toys might seem like basic but effective playthings for very young children. However, with a little bit of creative flair, they can become something much different. In this particular case, the folks behind the magic decided that they wanted to turn one into a go-kart. It’s definitely something that’s easier said than done. Personally, this is a sort of art form to make these different features come together without a hitch.

It would have to be a complete ground-up build. While the CarsandCameras crew were hoping to retain the charm of the design, everything else had to be created from scratch. This meant sourcing a motor, building a frame, and fabricating other components to make sure that they could all come together just right. Easier said than done.
