LSX twin turbo Calais runs hard on IRS
We love the licenses plate on Mark’s Holden’s VP Calais street car. Here it runs a personal best time of 9.37 @ 157 mph. The car is powered by a GM LSX 427ci V8 engine boosted by a pair of Turbonetics turbochargers. Running on E85, the car is still factory full weight and still utilizes IRS rear suspension through street radial tires.
Watch it below turn consistent 9 second passes at the Heathcote Park Raceway in Axedale, Australia.
