Man Ticketed For Broken Windshield While He’s Getting It Fixed
When it comes to interactions with police officers and civilians, there are a lot of factors that can go into whether or not both parties see the interaction as a desirable or not. These factors can range from the temperament of the officer and how severe the violation is to how much of an attitude the person being ticketed has and lots of other things in between.
This time, we check out a situation that seems to be pretty anger inducing on the surface, at least from the story that we are being told here as this driver appears to have run into an officer who takes his job very seriously and isn’t letting anybody slip anything by him.
When the man in the story here was the target of someone else’s bad day, which ended with a rock through his windshield, he had no choice but to fix it. Off he went to the windshield repair place to get the glass repaired and as he pulled into the lot, a police officer would greet him there, ready to slap a ticket on the situation for having a broken windshield right out front of the repair place.
Now, the officer might be able to argue that the windshield was a valid safety concern and the situation could definitely have unfolded differently than the story that we were told as there were no cameras on the scene to capture how it went down. However, on the surface, this really looks like a crummy way to handle such a minor infraction that the driver was just moments away from getting repaired.
