Monza’s Split Bumper Camaro vs Hidalgo’s n2o Camaro at Redemption 7.0
When you’re rounding up the no prep events that really draw crowds, Redemption is one of those that comes around each and every year that is guaranteed to put fans in seats and for good reason. Some of the fiercest cars around come out to do battle out on the eighth mile of drag strip that will put both car and driver to the test to see how they can compete not only with each other but with that lack of traction that exists out on the racing surface.
This time, we check out yet another good battle out on the strip as the one and only Monza brings out the Sinister Split Bumper Chevrolet Camaro, a car that definitely has earned its keep out on the streets and at no preps around the country as it goes up against it’s younger brother in a fourth generation Camaro powered with the help of a little bit of nitrous. We all know what we’re up against here so the only thing left to do is to get down to it.
We grab our popcorn and watch as the pair of Camaros goes to battle on the track, both trying to get that oh so valuable traction to put down all of their power to the ground to be able to push their way through the finish line sooner than the guy in the next lane.
Check out the video down below that takes us into this battle from a whole variety of different angles, giving you the true essence of what a race like this is like with competitors blasting to insane speeds, going door-to-door and putting their heads down as they rocket down the drag strip. Some of the shots here really give you a good perspective of exactly how fast these machines are really going because when seen on video, sometimes you can lose that feeling. Be sure to tell us what you think of this pair of monsters locking horns with one another.
