Most Awkward Traffic Stop Has South Carolina Mayor Driving Lawn Mower with open can of Miller Lite

Let’s just say that politics is a crazy game to get into. You don’t exactly have to be a prominent political figure to know that there are a lot of backdoor transactions that happen in this world and many times, they happen right under your nose. This time, we check out quite a tricky situation that a police officer happened to stumble across as he discovered something that definitely was out of place but when he discovered exactly who was conducting such an act, it really muddied the waters here. We aren’t really sure how it should’ve been handled it so we’re going to leave that decision up to you.

When we join the scene here, we see a man, more likely than not intoxicated, piloting his lawnmower down the street. Now, I’m not sure how anyone would think this would be a good idea, let alone a Mayor who is supposed to be a responsible role model for all of the people that make up his constituency to look up to. However, I don’t think that rolling your way down the side of the road on your zero turn with an open can of Miller Light is exactly how you want to tell the people of your town to behave, after all. That wasn’t where the complication stopped, though.

As the later released dash cam footage dictates, it turns out that the officer on duty did end up recognizing the person that he was pulling over and, as such, decided to let him off without a warning, citation, or anything. I’m sure that some would argue that the Mayor should be held to a higher standard and definitely should’ve been slapped with some sort of citation but others would probably argue that it’s better that he let the Mayor go, especially because he wasn’t doing any harm to anyone necessarily. Heck, he might have even let a normal person go in a situation like this but then again, you can never be too sure. I think if there is a potential for a good argument either way so let’s hear what you have to say about the situation and how you think that the matter should have been handled. I Think the police officer was right to act in a way that he did?

I think if there is a potential for a good debate either way so let’s hear what you have to say about the situation and how you think that the matter should have been handled. Do you the police officer was right to act in a way that he did? Who knows, maybe the Mayor just crapped out on an expensive day of fantasy football and just wanted to drink it all away.
