Motivated Fisherman Turns Rain Water Storage Tank Into a Fishing Boat
There is something to really be said about being resourceful. Even though someone might not have what it takes to go out and buy a boat or might not want to, perhaps there’s another way to get out of the water. Sometimes, the allure of a nearby lake or pond might just be too much to deny.
In such a case, someone who would want to go fishing would probably defer to a nearby piece of land to cast their rod in the water. However, instead of settling for that, this guy got a little bit creative. He might not have had a boat but he did have access to it was a rainwater tank. As it turns out, without water on the inside, the tank was very buoyant. In fact, it was so buoyant that the individual who took it to the water was able to cast in a couple of lines. He even strapped a small trolling motor to the back of it to get the vessel in motion.
Now, we’re not sure if we would take this vessel outside of a small creek. However, it really does seem to get the job done for what it is. Even though it might not be perfect or really have room to spread out, it definitely looks like something that could be a little bit better than not getting on the water at all. We are curious, however, to see what it would look like to battle a sizable fish on the DIY vessel and how sturdy it could be.
Down below, a nearby camera captured the creation as the individual behind the controls wouldn’t let a lack of a boat stop him from a day of fishing. Now only if we knew the line of thinking that led up to this creation hitting the water.
