Murder Nova Stops at Finnegan’s Garage in Part 2 of His Donk Road Trip
The more that we watch of Murder Nova, the more that we find that he seems to appreciate a challenge. I think this is something that a lot of gearheads find in common. Even if the situation provides a challenge that looks like it would be difficult to conquer, many of us prove to be hardheaded and take it on anyway.
One of the latest challenges for the likes of Shawn is a cross country ride in his old school donk. The goal is to take the 1975 Chevrolet Caprice from the 405 down to Florida for the first-ever donk cash days on the street.
Even though it doesn’t get much more mechanically inclined than a professional racer, there were still some potential issues on the horizon. After all, driving a machine designed for racing on such a road trip would provide a challenge. When we throw in the fact that it’s sitting on 26-inch wheels, things get even more complicated. Even imagining having to replace one of those tires while on the road almost seems to be an impossibility.
Last time, we would tune in as the hero of this story would run into some mechanical issues. Before long, though, he got back up and running and found his way to Finnegan’s Garage for a bit more tinkering. While he was there, he made sure to check out some of the projects that we have come love from the Finnegan’s Garage YouTube channel. These include the twin turbo jet boat and Finnegan’s dropped C10 pickup truck.
Down in the video below, we’re able to check in on these two automotive figureheads coming together over a bit of a project. After a couple of modifications, Shawn is back on the road once again and headed toward Florida. As we mentioned in part one, this is the ultimate test of a real streetcar. We can’t say that too many folks are taking their racing machines on road trips in between races!
