Mustang Goes Vertical, Flying Car Will Put You On The Edge Of Your Seat
In the world of drag racing we see so many close calls, wheelies, and wild races but in this one, we check out something truly wild that went down and it’s really mind-bending to watch unfold as physics take their course and bring a harsh reality to the front door of Frank Soldridge back at Lights Out 4, turning a normal pass into something he most certainly wasn’t expecting on that crisp day of drag racing. It’s incredible and terrifying alike to watch as he went sky high with this one and slammed down pretty hard. You know that he had to be feeling this one for quite some time!
It’s certainly not every day that you see something like this unfold and when you do, all that you can really do is try to contain yourself as you witness a high horsepower beast become detached from the track beneath it and, with what could have potentially been one small mistake somewhere along the line, go airborne, leaving the driver to hang on for dear life.
Honestly, it looks like the aftermath of the race unfolded in about the most ideal way.
We’ve seen lots of cars in similar predicaments take on a lot more damage by rolling over which could have most certainly happened in this situation. Once the rubber is off of the ground, the driver has no control over what’s going to happen next and it could get pretty bad as we have seen in some cases but in this case, landing on all fours here was an absolute blessing as the car pinged back down, looking to do minimal damage in a situation that was getting ready to unleash the worst on this poor Ford Mustang. If you check out the video below from the guys over at Free Life Films, you’ll see what might be the craziest flying race car we have ever seen.
