Nasty Shelby Mustang Does a Huge Wheelie into a 360 Spin and Saves it!

One of the most exciting parts of being a spectator to a drag race is the fact that things could manage to escalate to quite a volatile situation in a hurry. However, as someone who’s behind the wheel of a race car, these are the situations that you probably fear as being the worst.

This time, we watch in as Brian Devilbiss and his boosted beast of a Ford Mustang GT500 stands it up on the rear bumper. That isn’t where the action ends, though, as when he comes down, the situation becomes even more intense than the moment that Brian found himself looking at the sky.

Instead of touching down gently and continuing down the track, the car was kind of sent into a frenzy as soon as the front tires touched the racing surface, pushing the car sideways and leaving Brian to have to react quickly to save it and luckily, he managed to get the pony under control. However, the save came only after the car rotated 360° and went into the opposite lane in the process.

All in all, the situation called for a really close call but thankfully, no damage was done in the scheme of the breathtaking moment. Form a moment there, I thought that this angry Ford was actually about to sprout a pair of wings and fly away when it lifted up on two wheels!
