New Ferrari FXX-K Evo: The Ultimate Billionaire’s Toy
Ferrari has elevated itself to a whole new level with the FXX, and now it has elevated the FXX to a new plateau with this, the stunningly aggressive FXX-K Evo. Trying to find the words to sum up this car is futile, as there really are no terms that get the point across effectively. But, since it’s my job, I’m going to take a shot at it.
We’ll start with “aggressive” because that’s definitely going to be the first thing you notice about this car. As if the FXX wasn’t already imposing enough, the addition of several aerodynamic components only serves to raise the bar in terms of aggressiveness, both visually and how hard the car can be pushed on the track. With over 1,400 pounds of downforce at 125 MPH, the car will quite literally be stuck to the road or track, giving the driver an insane amount of control of the car at speed. You want to have that kind of downforce when there are over 1,000 horsepower on tap, as that kind of power can get you in a lot of trouble very quickly if you’re not careful.
The next word is far too vanilla for this car, but it’s the closest thing I can come up with: “Beautiful”. Despite all the sharp edges and hard lines, there’s not an angle the car can be viewed from that it isn’t simply stunning. The side profile especially is absolutely mesmerizing and truly shows just how much time Ferrari put into making the car visually striking. Mission accomplished.
Finally, I’m going to go with “Exclusive”. While the portion of the population that can afford a car like this is already microscopic, Ferrari has taken exclusivity to the next level as well, deciding on a case-by-case basis who gets a shot at owning an FXX-K Evo. As of now, it isn’t known how many will be built, how much they will cost, or who will have an opportunity to purchase one. That, my friends, is how you raise the bar.
