To call this ride a Smart Car might not be entirely fair as this ride looks almost nothing like the two-seater that rolled off of the assembly line, but that’s neither here nor there as this Smart, normal looking or not, has set the record as the fastest in the world!

With the help of 555 cubic inches of BBC American Iron, this Smart is able to pull off a 10.26-sec0nd pass while reaching speeds of over 130mph. Could you imagine if they hit this ride with some nitrous?

The addition of the bigger tires that you see the Smart sporting help out a bit with the wheel stands that this thing likes to pull and were able to help it smash its way to the record books. You can see the record setter throw down in the video below.
