Off-Roaders Bite Off More Than They Can Chew in River Crossing Fail
To the untrained eye, if you’re looking to go off-roading and tackle the most extreme obstacles at hand, you would probably think that the biggest vehicle with the most aggressive setup would reign supreme. However, if you have ever truly gone off of the beaten path, you probably also realize that just because your setup is big and bad doesn’t necessarily guarantee that you’re going to end up making it through the obstacles that sit in front of you. After all, there are some places where not even the most aggressively built machines will be able to conquer the elements.
In this showing, we take the opportunity to follow along with what appears to be a machine that was certainly built with the purpose of going off of the beaten path in mind. This time, it just so happens that the task at hand is a river crossing that looks a little bit challenging. After all, the water is quite deep and as you can see, even from the side of the screen, the quickly moving nature of the water is going to create a little bit of hazard in and of itself. It’s certainly not something that an amateur is going to want to try and tackle on their own.
If you follow along with the video below, you’ll watch as this driver simply bit off a little bit more than he was able to chew, attempting to cross the challenging obstacle, only to have mother nature swing back hard, knocking the vehicle off of its momentum and taking it for a ride down the river. Luckily, all of the occupants were able to get out, however, it does look like the SUV had been consumed by the quick moving water. I guess that’s a part of the risk that you take when it comes to this kind of hobby.
