Oil Tanker Rear Ends Driver in Sketchy Snow Crash

When the roads in areas that receive lots of harsh winter weather start to ice over, you might want to try and avoid them at all costs. Even though you might think that you have a grasp on defensive driving when the conditions aren’t so great, anything can happen at any time.

This time, we come across a driver who looks to be forced into making a split second decision that ends up with a vicious wreck on his hands. This guy is really lucky that the scene didn’t escalate to a level where it started injuring folks and taking lives!

Ride along with the dash cam footage below that shows the driver avoiding a slow moving vehicle before being rear-ended by an oil tanker that simply is way too big to stop in the amount of time that it had to stop. There was no way out of this predicament for the driver of the big truck.

This just goes to show you that just when you thought you had it all under control, elements like these can make a situation change in an instant and you don’t want to be anywhere around when something like this is going on.
