Parents Trick Son Into Thinking They Bought Cereal For Birthday, Gets New Truck Instead

For pretty much every early teenager, the one thing that they’re all looking forward to is the idea of having that first car. Maybe it’s not actually the car itself but instead the idea of the liberation that you get from being able to have your own set of wheels and not have to ask mom and dad for a ride anymore. We all remember looking forward to the day where we can finally get behind the wheel of our very own vehicle and hit the open road with our friends, heading to whatever destination it was that we pleased at the time, that was, if you’re off of your learner’s permit.

For many of us, the first car that we got wasn’t anything to write home about, really, but something that we still greatly appreciated and took great pride in. Sure, it might have been a vehicle that wasn’t exactly a brand-new truck but it got the job done most of the time. It’s something that most of us are able to live to appreciate and for a select few, they might even have gotten a very nice vehicle as their first car. I guess that it would all depend on what your parents opinions were on either making you work your rear end off to be able to get your hands on that first car or perhaps helping you out a little bit to help you get your hands on something that’s a little bit better.

If you follow along down in the video below, you’ll be able to catch up with a youngster for whom mom and dad actually ended up buying a pretty new pickup truck as said “first car.” However, they didn’t just hand over the keys but instead had a little bit of trickery up their sleeves, making him think that he was on his way to getting some very simple gifts instead of the truck. However, that didn’t seem to really deter him from having a smile on his face as it looks like the youngster would’ve been grateful with just about anything that ended up getting. When he did learn about the truck, though, his reaction was priceless.
