Poor Guy In McLaren P1 Slams Curb At Cars & Coffee… Happens To The Best Of Us

When you’re driving your car around at Cars and Coffee, the machine that’s practically your child that you love it so much, the very last thing that anybody wants to hear is a “crunch.” Watching the side of your car get completely demolished by a curb is something that nobody wants to have to go through and we also don’t want to see our fellow enthusiasts go through it, either, however, things happen every once in a while. It’s something that you need to be able to take head on to deal with when it does go down.

While all crunches might hurt your soul because your car is your pride and joy and no matter what it’s worth, it’s always going to be something that hits you hard, however, when it comes to how your bank account is really impacted by something like this, I don’t think there’s really any secret that some cars take a hit that’s more expensive than others. For example, if you’re behind the wheel of a McLaren, you’re probably going to end up paying a little bit more than if you owned most cars if the side of your lowered car ended up coming into contact with a curb. This is what makes a video like this that much more painful to watch as this driver has a little bit of a blind spot on the side of his car and, when he cut the corner a little bit too tightly, you can see how the rest of this is going as he pretty much desecrated the lower passenger side of his ride before coming to an immediate hault to hop out and see exactly how much damage was done. Unfortunately for him, this one is looking like it’s not going to be cheap.

If you dare, you can check out the video below that showcases the entire incident as it happened. Hearing that really loud crunch is almost as bad as hearing bones break for the first time. After doing this once or twice, you can bet your bottom dollar that this driver pays a little bit closer attention next time that he pulls out of a parking space or any tight area, for that matter.
