Pricing Released For Full 2015 Dodge Viper SRT Lineup

We’ve known for a bit that Dodge was dropping prices on the 2015 Viper. The automaker did just that for the base car, bringing the MSRP down by $15,000 to just under $85,000. This move bought a nice bit of life into Viper sales, as the car was previously not selling well. After the price cut, the year-to-date sales figures jumped up 26 percent. Now we know what’s in store for the rest of the Viper lineup, which includes the base model, mid-range GT, luxury-oriented GTS and track-focused Time Attack 2.0 (TA).

The 2015 Viper TA 2.0 is the most hardcore version of the fairly ferocious coupe. Extra aero, upgraded suspension, more aggressive rubber at the corners, and a handful of other track-minded pieces allow the TA to rip through corners at a higher clip than the standard Viper. It’s not quite as manic as the ACR versions of years past, but it’s a beast in its own right. Plus it leaves the door open for an even more hard core ACR down the road. The TA 2.0 starts at $101,995.

At the top of the lineup sits the more luxurious GTS, and the 2015 version now starts at $107,995. Additionally, Dodge has decided to fit a lot of the optional extras as standard equipment. Items such as the 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, Nappa leather on the doors and console, and six-way power adjustable driver and passenger seats.

Finally, the Viper GT, which is new for 2015, is priced from $94,995. It picks up many of the niceties of the Viper GTS, such as Nappa and Alcantara trim, but for less money.

It’s clear that Dodge is ready to bring the Viper to more folks, and these price moves prove that point. Expect to see a few more on the road in 2015. Note, all prices mentioned exclude the Viper’s gas guzzler tax and destination charge.

All 2015 Vipers are powered by an 8.4-liter V-10 engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine now delivers 645 horsepower and delivers up to 20 mpg on the highway.
