Pulling a Fifth Wheel With a Corolla Can be Done, but at What Cost?
As they say, where there is a will, there’s a way. Don’t get us wrong. We aren’t necessarily saying that every idea is really a good one. However, it’s pretty amazing to see some of the things that we see happening from people who are just determined to get them done.
For example, nobody in their right mind would attempt to pull a fifth-wheel camper with a compact car like a Toyota Corolla. For all intents and purposes, it’s just a bad idea that should never be done. However, people never cease to amaze us with some of the things that they’re willing to try.
In this situation, that’s exactly what we get as somebody puts their compact car to the test with a fifth wheel. Now, clearly, this is just some sort of experiment to see if it can be done. It definitely doesn’t appear as if the person behind the wheel here plans on taking this show on the road or the highway, at least we hope not.
However, it really pushes the limits just to show us what exactly would happen with such a combination. It’s so uncommon that we can’t help but wait to see what’s going to happen next. Even if it’s just pulling the camper around on neighborhood roads, something like this just doesn’t seem like it would work at all, and to be honest, we’re kind of waiting to see the fallout.
By following along with the video below, we feast our eyes on the situation. At the end of the day, something like this probably isn’t all that practical. However, for those who might have a junk car laying around on the farm and need to move some heavy stuff around, we suppose that it could be done.
…Just don’t blame us when something goes wrong or you end up hurting yourself.
