Rat Rod Inspired Go-Kart Hauls The Mail, Color Us Impressed!
Sure, when it comes to building something like a go-kart, you could probably order all the parts and assemble them in a fit and finished way straight from some manufacturer who might specialize in this kind of thing. Furthermore, you probably don’t have to assemble anything if you want to just shell out a little bit of money in order to purchase a perfectly fine in running product. However, sometimes, maybe you just want to save that money where you can afford to save it or maybe you happen to be into the challenge of building some of these things on your own with your own two hands. After all, this kind of gratification might be a little bit better than going out and buying things, for some folks.
This time, we check out a go-kart build that has been dubbed the “rat rod wagon”, essentially using, well, a Little Red Wagon, as the name infers, along with a bunch of custom-made parts and different pieces that have been sourced from around the garage to come together as one. To top it all off, we get to see a flat head Briggs & Stratton engine being used that might not be running perfectly but after a while, with a little bit of effort invested into it, is something that purrs like a kitten and definitely shows that it has enough power to be able to carry its own weight.
If you follow along with the video below, you’ll be able to check out this rat rod go-kart for yourself and see what it’s all about. You have to admit, no matter if you’re a proponent of building something or going out and buying something, that a build like this is a lot more fun to look at as you can see how these folks used their very own creativity in order to make a finished product come into focus.
