Rich Boat Owner ‘Forgot’ About His Docked Luxury Yacht

We’d be willing to be everybody reading this has a story about something they’ve forgotten, as it happens to everybody at some point. However, this could definitely be one of the more extreme cases, considering this wealthy fellow forgot about his boat. And not just any boat, a $100,000 yacht.

After sitting unattended in a Swedish dock for two full years, the authorities launched a Facebook campaign to try to track down the owner. When he was located, the man said he thought he had sold the vessel, leaving it instead to gather daily mooring fees in the harbor. What’s even more insane, the keys were hanging in plain sight on the boat’s railing and nobody ever took the boat out.

While we’ve all forgotten things here and there, I doubt too many of us have ever forgotten about our six-figure yacht.
