Ride Inside the Colony of Miniature Ships That Teaches Captains to Operate the Real Deal
If you take a look at lots of situations that somebody might face on this earth whether they be for profit, pleasure, or maybe some mix of both, there’s usually a simulation that will go alongside it. In these simulations, people try as hard as they can to emulate real-life scenarios so that somebody who wants to be involved in such a scenario can brace themselves for what the real thing will be like. However, no matter how hard people work at these simulations and how much money is invested to make sure that they’re accurate, none of them will ever be 100% like partaking in the real thing.
However, while simulations can never be exactly correct, even with all of the time and money invested to get them there, this looks to be one of those simulations that gets one as close to the real thing as possible, essentially taking the act of piloting a massive ship, in of itself, and shrinking it down a little bit to give people who want to be operating massive ships the opportunity to get some first hand experience without, you know, being responsible for operating the biggest moving machines on earth and being responsible for all that comes alongside that duty. It’s pretty neat to see these miniature tankers navigating their way through a canal and interacting with one another at a fraction of the scale of the real thing.
If you check out the video below, you’ll get an inside look at exactly what the training process behind carrying out an intense occupation like this looks like. With a lot of work like this, you can definitely see how it would be incredibly important to make sure that you iron out all of the details before you send somebody into the field to be in control of something that is responsible for tons of lives and millions of dollars in cargo.
