RIP to this poor Camaro… Ford Focus RS vs Camaro SS on the street!

If you want to talk about a car that has made leaps and bounds, you really have to take a good hard look at the Ford Focus. What was once aentry-level commuter car designed to be reliable and affordable has morphed this way into something that the former version of itself wouldn’t even recognize anymore.

This time, we check out a Ford Focus RS in bone stock form as it heads out to the streets to see how it will fare against some daunting competition in a Chevrolet Camaro SS that is also boasting a couple of bolt on modifications and a tune to tip the scales even more.

On paper, to the untrained eye, this one might look like clear victory for the big bad V8, but what we see unfold in front of us is another story entirely as the cars line up from a dig and the Focus completely takes off on the Camaro and doesn’t even bother to look back as it pulls away more and more with every second.

Take a look at the video below to see how this race goes down which is followed up by a roll race that evens out the result just a little bit. We have to say that we were pretty pleasantly surprised with how that Focus managed to hold its own against the car boasting many more cubic inches.
