Savage S2k Shoots For the Moon – Not Your Average Honda

This is definitely one badass S2000! BigKleib34 caught some excellent footage of this little hotrod Honda in action at the Haltech World Cup, and to say it’s impressive is a gross understatement.

The S2K, powered by a boosted four-cylinder that seems to pump out all the horsepower, rips off some 8.20’s at 170+ MPH through the quarter mile, putting it way up on the list of Honda drag cars. One pass it looks like the crew ramped the boost up a little too quick, sending the sharp white coupe reaching for the sky, launching into a massive wheelstand. The rest of the passes are much less dramatic, with the rear-wheel drive hotrod just planting the tires and screaming down the track.

This S2K is definitely one of the most ridiculous sport compact drag cars we’ve seen, especially seeing it hanging the nose way up in the air and ripping off 170 MPH trap speeds!
