Scary Video Shows Moment Plane’s Engine ‘Disintegrates’ Over The Atlantic

As someone who has found himself on a plane plenty of times, most of the time when you head up into the sky, it’s a smooth experience. However, every once in a while, there will be a transaction that won’t go by so smoothly as something will happen to make you get on edge a little bit about exactly what’s happening around you whether it be an unruly fellow passenger, some sort of mechanical failure, or mix of factors that really don’t spell out piece of mind. It’s really disheartening, to say the least, and can make you wish that you never got on that particular plane in first place.

While most people who fly regularly can say that they might have stumbled once or twice in their flying experiences, I don’t think of too many people can say that they have come across something like this. If I were a passenger on this plane, I have to admit that I would probably be downright terrified if I were one of the people so unfortunate enough to have a window seat near one of the wings and peer out to see the view. What this guy saw when he looked out the window was nothing short of about a worst-case scenario that could make your heart drive out of the bottom of your stomach.

Follow the video below that shows an engine failure that made one of this commercial airplane’s engines completely disintegrate over the Atlantic Ocean, sending pieces down below and leaving the charred body behind. Now, while the pilot was able to safely navigate the plane while down one engine, the people on board here have all of the reason to be scared out of their minds, especially after the loud boom and rattling reported right after the engine’s failure. The fact that this happened halfway over the Atlantic Ocean, or so they caption in the original twitter post goes, makes the matter all that much more terrifying. Luckily, the explosion wasn’t bigger and the structure of the wing was able to stay in tact to deliver the people on board to safety.
