SEMA Ignited 2017 Highlights – Huge Revs and Crazy Cars!
Each year during the first week of November, thousands of insane custom car and truck builds are shipped or driven – yeah, we know, maybe like two of are actually driven, and those are probably built in Vegas, but still – to the SEMA Show, the largest automotive market trade show in the world. What started as a small meeting of industry minds has evolved in to a can’t-miss event in Sin City that features more than 2,300 exhibitors and over 60,000 buyers from all around the world.
One of many events built into the show to entertain those in attendance is the SEMA Ignited cruise, a simple strip of asphalt laid out for cruising in any of the countless rides built just for the show. The builders and exhibitors are free to participate, and the throngs of onlookers who gather to watch and listen to these rides as they cruise by.
YouTuber Matt Maran was one of the more than 3,000 members of the media on hand and he spent some time at the Ignited cruise with camera in hand, taking in as much of the action as possible. Some of these builds are relatively tame, especially by SEMA standards, but most of them are pretty wild and feature some crazy modifications, and as a part of the “look at me” appeal, they have some amazing exhaust notes.
Matt compiled his footage into his favorite 7 minutes, so our advice to you is to just hit that Full Screen button, crank up the volume and sit back and watch as all of the cars from the 2017 SEMA Ignited cruise roll right on by, throwing revs and looking downright sexy. When you get done, head back to our Facebook page and the post that linked you to this article and tell us which ride jumped out at you as the baddest ride in the bunch.
