Sneaky Mustang owner on “Pass Time” tricks the contestants big time!
Checking out these old school SPEED channel television shows really brings the nostalgia in full swing. I’m sure that we can all remember the show, Pass Times, but if you don’t, no worries.
Allow us to elaborate: Basically, the goal here is for contestants to guess the quarter mile elapsed time of a car with no more information than what the outside of the car looks like, what it sounds like, and the information that the owner gives them in addition to one question each.
This time, we check out one of the most famous Pass Time contestants ever in Randy Jackson who might just have a little Sneaky Pete under the hood of this Ford Mustang that has the contestants on the show completely thrown for a loop. It’s passes like this that really make these shows fun.
When they all have their information in-line (or at least they think they do), the contestants lock in their times, giving the ragged looking Mustang credit for a low 12-second pass and no better. As soon as the wheels lift it up on the launch, they knew that they were all in for a surprise.
Check out the video below as the nitrous induced Mustang far surpasses the 12-second predictions from the contestants and then some. How fast will it really go? Find out in the video below that shows the throwdown!
