Stealth, how does it work? The Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit
When it comes to the art of war, there is a lot to consider when putting together the machines that are supposed to carry around troops safely and carry out specific missions.
This time, we take a look at the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit, a stealth plane that is able to overcome many obstacles of visibility and proves to be almost invisible in the sky.
Not only does this airborne machine slice through the clouds like a razor through a hot stick of butter but it also manages to slice right on through radar detection as well.
By using variable thrust, rudder movement, and a coating of a material that is a fusion between plastic and carbon fiber, the plane is able to reflect radio waves to make it appear as nothing more than a small bird on the radar.
Check out the video below that divulges upon what it is that makes this plane such a successful feat of engineering. What do you think of this marvel?
