Strapping a 300 Shot of Nitrous to a Trackhawk is What Dreams Are Made Of
There’s something special about a fast vehicle when not many people see it coming. Sure, here in the performance community, most people know that a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk boasts over 700 hp. Even for a heavyweight SUV, that’s certainly a lot of potencies. However, blasting past an unsuspecting bystander on the interstate has to be such a thrill knowing that they’re probably wondering how a Jeep is moving at such a rapid pace.
It almost seems a little bit mindbending to think that something that sizable could be potentially moving that fast. This time, though, we had to dive into a build that really takes the bones of the Trackhawk and picks them up to a new level entirely. Still weighing in at 5500 pounds, this tank of a machine makes over 1100 hp on the factory long block.
That Racing Channel takes us inside of the creation to show us how everything came together with what they say is just about every bolt-on modification possibly available for the model, in addition to a 300 shot of nitrous. Long story short, it doesn’t really matter how heavy this thing is, it’s a machine that’s going to roll out and leave jaws on the floor.
By following along with the video below, we get a unique perspective, giving us the tour of this machine, inside and out, that really shows us what it’s made of. We almost get a certain sense of adrenaline, even from the side of the screen, as the heavyweight of an SUV rips from 0 to 60 mph and just 2.3 seconds.
Just imagine how intense it must be to have a family hauler rolling out that quickly. There’s definitely one thing that we can draw from a build like this for certain – the kids will never be late to soccer practice again!
