With a big block Ford built by Kuntz & Company Racing Engines being force fed by a pair of monster 98 mm turbochargers that should be good for somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,000 horsepower – an estimate based only on the engine being a big block and the huge compressors – to put in work on the track and the street.
Unlike either of Bobby’s other two rides – his now-sold Maverick most of us remember from the show from the show and his blue nitrous Mustang that looks similar to this car – this car will have a big tire tucked under the rear end. With this much horsepower on tap, it would be borderline suicidal to bolt up small tires, so Bobby is making the leap into the big tire world, and he’s bringing a big gun to the fight.
Bad Habitz Fab did the build of the car, which some eagle-eyed readers may recognize as the Radial vs the World car campaigned by Jason Thames a few years ago, although Bobby says there’s not much left of that car besides the body and a few bars. The car is rocking a clean Suncoast “bubble” style hood and gorgeous Billet Specialties wheels.
The black wheels with machined accents work well with the dark tinted windows and other black accents like the headlight covers and black fasteners on the body panels. All of this comes together to make for one great looking ride, and if it runs anywhere near as good as it should, it will be more than capable of backing up those looks on the track and the street.
