Street Outlaws James Goad AKA Reaper Unveils New Ride “Deez Nutz” Hilarious Theme And A New Power Adder!
With a new show based around the No Prep world on the horizon for Discovery Channel, there are some familiar faces putting together new cars to hit the track for the new series. As always, the PRI Show in Indy is the place to host an off-season reveal, and there was no shortage of big news at PRI 2017.
One of the biggest reveals was the unveiling of James Goad’s new Camaro, which he’s humorously named Deez Nuts. We can’t really argue with Goad’s logic that nobody wants to get beat by “Deez Nuts”, so the name alone should help motivate the guy in the other lane to be at his best. The new car brings James into a whole new world as he’s decided to go the forced induction route instead of nitrous. To make that transition a bit easier, he enlisted the help of one of the elite EFI tuners in the nation, Alabama native Travis Quillen whose name you’ve likely seen before on other articles. Quillen has had his hands on several other 405 rides, dropping his extensive expertise into these cars to help them make the most out of their combinations and put down the power as effectively as possible.
Modulating the power will be a key with this car, as it’s cranking out a ton of power thanks to the massive 143mm ProCharger and 640 CID big block. That combination along with a one-of-a-kind transmission from ATI. The car should be a handful, whether or not it’s the good kind of handful remains to be seen.
Goad goes on to talk about the camaraderie between he and the rest of the 405, despite their differences that flare up from time to time, as we all saw on last weeks episode. We can’t wait to see this new ride in action on the upcoming series, and as always, we’re looking forward to new episodes of Street Outlaws on Monday nights!
