Supercharged Home Made Straight Eight Engine!

With a solid plan and a little bit of knowledge to back it up, pretty much anything can be accomplished and when this builder set his mind to it, a straight-eight engine was born.

Built in a shed, this eight-cylinder power plant was created by fusing together two “NSU engines” and plopping a GMC supercharger on top.

After a lot of time and determination, “Desperate Dan” was able to fire up his creation for the first time and his initial reaction – he thinks it’s too quiet!
