Tesla P100D vs 2017 640 HP Cadillac CTS-V
With as much racing as we have seen Teslas compete in, it’s almost at the point where we would’ve expected the Tesla to win in a variety of cases even when it comes to racing a brand-new 640 hp Cadillac CTS-V, one of the most brutally powerful luxury cars that you have ever laid eyes on.
For some reason, though, the idea of watching a car that you know is powered by nothing other than electricity is incredibly entertaining as it blasts by a supercharged V8 with nothing more than some factory installed options. It really has to be an obscure feeling to be passed by a car making absolutely no noise.
In addition to the hand-to-hand combat with the CTS-V a, we watch yet another Tesla P100D take home the new world record as the quickest stock four-door sedan, managing a 10.72-seconds pass. Who would have ever thought that electric technology would’ve come that far to beat up cars like the Cadillac and the Dodge Charger Hellcat?
Check out the video below that shows Teslas completely ruling the drag strip and tell us what you think of the idea of electric cars taking over. It might not be long before all of drag racing is done with electric vehicles.
