Testing Exhaust Leaks the Wrong Way

As with everything else, there’s a right and a wrong thing of going about testing out exhaust leaks. We’ll let you go ahead and guess which one this is!

In order to see if this car, in particular, had a fully functioning exhaust, the mechanic decided that he would plug up the tail pipe with a couple of rags and the method exploded in his face… quite literally.

The result of this home-brewed method of testing was a face full of dark black smoke. That one couldn’t have felt too good, going all over the place!
