The 1140 HP Koenigsegg Agera R is WAY FASTER Than the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse

When you start looking at some of the machines that get to be in that incredibly high dollar hypercar range, they’re so easy to be impressed by that the vast majority of them will leave your jaw dropped on the ground. Personally, I think that I could speak for a lot of people when I say that even if one of these cars can really beat up on another, they are all very impressive in their own right. However, as gearheads, it’s only natural that we try and compare them all to one another to see which of the heaviest of hitters can take the crown amongst its peers.

This time, we check out a Koenigsegg Agera R as it gets into a fierce acceleration competition with the Bugatti Veyron Vitesse, another machine that many would kill to have in their garage. As it turns out, at least from the perspective of this video, when you put these cars next to each other on their strip, one of them is clearly a lot faster than the other. While most kids probably have a poster of a Bugatti in their bedroom, as it turns out, the less touted Agera R ends up absolutely freight training the car in the next lane over. Given that we all know what the Bugatti is capable of, this is a pretty impressive display, to say the least.

Now, we get it, we know that it’s not all about having the fastest car all the time as, with cars like these, there’s a lot more to be offered than speed. I mean, if all that you wanted was speed, you would probably start with something a lot cheaper like a Fox Body Mustang, but in this battle of the Titans, I think that it’s pretty apparent that one of these cars hits a lot harder than the other. After watching this little comparison that has the Bugatti getting a slight head start pretty much every time and finding itself in the rearview mirror of the Koenigsegg on a consistent basis, tell us what you think of this matchup.
