The Dodge Demons Price is Finally Revealed at a Number Nobody Expected!
Dodge shocked the automotive industry when they announced the Demon, in the process creating a whole new market for street-drivable factory drag cars, assuming Chevrolet and Ford follow suit. With some of the most ridiculous stats we have ever heard for a factory-built car, the Demon is the very definition of a game changer.
One spec that Dodge didn’t reveal with the car’s public release was the price, leaving the world to speculate on how much it would cost to take one of the limited-edition cars home.
Today that question was answered, and the price is surprisingly lower than most had estimated. While many experts figured the car would be well over the $100,000 mark, some estimations putting it over $125K. However, Dodge managed to keep the price under six figures by quite a bit, at least for the “starting at” price on the quickest car to ever roll off an assembly line. With 840 horsepower on tap from the Hemi under the unique air grabber hood, the Demon blasts from 0-60 MPH in an insane 2.3 seconds and clicks off the clocks in the quarter mile in 9.6 seconds at 140 MPH. We’re talking about a car that can cover the quarter mile quicker than many cars can cover half that distance in stock form, all for the price of $86K!
From the high-output Hemi to the drag-tuned automatic transmission, this car was built from the ground up with quarter mile performance in mind. It even comes with lightweight frontrunner-style wheels and tires in a vehicle-specfic toolbox that helps with rolling friction and rotating mass, helping push the car to these ridiculous performance numbers. The Demon is the first car to come from the factory with drag radials and a transbrake, and not much else needs to be said to prove just how track-centric the car is. We are both shocked and impressed with the price point of a car with so much to offer the buyer.
The Demon Crate, with all the drag-strip, treats you would ever need (racing wheels, a performance powertrain module that unleashes the 840 HP and 770 TQ from that 6.2-liter V8 motor, and a bundle of tools to assemble everything), will be accessible to Demon clients for just $1… Yes, $1 dollar.
