The fastest train in the world (almost). 356 mph test in France
In a day and age where there are so many possible forms of transportation, the train seems to be one that is sort of falling by the wayside. Sure, a lot of folks still use trains but we think it is pretty accurate to say that they are nowhere near as popular as they once were.
However, that isn’t to say that engineers have stopped upping the ante on train technology as we see them go faster and faster each and every year as yet another train comes out that will stop the previous record holder in its tracks (no pun intended).
This time, we check out a little demonstration from a railway traveler that is oh so close to being the fastest of its kind and watching it in action is nothing short of an amazing feeling as it zips down the line with the fury, giving you that excited feeling inside.
Now, in present day, a Japanese bullet train has managed to seize the record with speeds of 374 mph but hanging behind by a margin of just 18 mph isn’t too shabby. We would venture to think that this machine would still do a bang up job of getting you to wherever you need to go in a hurry.
