This was definitely an important release for the brand. The revival is going back in time and digging into a nameplate that was really admired by brand enthusiasts. It was one that GM was going to be under the microscope for because of how they handled the last truck model that they brought back from the grave. As it turns out, the Chevrolet Blazer has met mass scrutiny because it seems to be just reusing a badge on a bland and boring crossover SUV… Not good.

Chevrolet was able to breathe a sigh of relief, though, as it seems like the latest and greatest Hummer has won over the likes of social media. Now, that doesn’t necessarily translate into sales just yet. However, it’s a very good step in the right direction. The Hummer is sure to be a nameplate that gathers a lot of attention based on the collective reaction that we’ve noticed so far.

This time, thanks to JerryRigEverything, we get to check out the Hummer up close, and personal, for the first time. As the machine just made its debut, this look gives us one of our first glimpse into what will eventually come of the model.

Below, we get the grand tour of one of the most exciting pickup trucks to hit the market and the only electric pickup truck to come from Detroit’s big three so far. After checking out something like this, we can only wonder what competitors, Ram and Ford, are going to come up with.
