In the world of supercars, Ford decided to drop a bombshell by bringing back one of its most revered nameplates in the Ford GT in the year 2017. It just so happens that the year is upon us and the latest and greatest in the GT has begun to hit the streets.
As of now, we all know what the car will look like and know that Ford has made the controversial decision to ditch the v8 in favor of a 3.5L EcoBoost twin-turbocharged v6. The blanks are all filled in and it’s time to see the cars start to roll off of the assembly line and into the hands of the fanatics.
In this flick, we check out the first Ford GT customer car to roll into the streets. We can’t wait to see these RWD supercars in action. It will be interesting to see how this form of power gives the bigger displacement cars a run for their money.
Check out the video below that will give you the first peek at the real life Ford GT that you should be seeing in the streets in no time – if you’re lucky enough, that is! There are only 500 vehicles to be initially built!
