Apparently, even when it comes to something as simple as a bicycle, technology simply can’t stand still as people have also put together different ideas across the board as to how they could possibly improve upon the design that is over 200 years old, if not more. Apparently, even though it’s been working all this time, folks seem to think that they can somehow figure out a way to bring the bicycle into the modern age.
This time, we check out a bike that goes by the name of “Cyclotron,” yet another attempt to be the future of the bicycle. Instead of a regular old bike with normal tires and spokes, this time, we take a look at what it would look like if tires were, in fact, airless and didn’t have anything supporting the wheel other than the structure of the rim. This is all accomplished through a variety of techniques including a carbon fiber frame that wires can be run through to turn on the lights. In addition, it’s supposed to be offered up as a smart bike meaning that an app will be able to track what exactly the bicycle has been up to and help to make suggestions for you. The exact details have yet to be released.
