The Last Moments of a Nissan GTR’s Life Before it Goes Sliding into the Trees!

For those who haven’t heard of it, the Tail of the Dragon is a pretty widely known road in Deal’s Gap, South Carolina that packs 318 turns into its 11 miles, earning it a permanent ranking at or near the top of the most exciting roads to drive in America. As such, it often draws some of the most skilled drivers in some badass cars to tackle the road, which boasts no intersecting roads or even driveways to have to worry about, allowing drivers to focus their attention completely on the road itself.

Of course, that also means the car draws its share of either incompetent or underprepared drivers, which leads to accidents like the one in the clip below. This 2017 Nissan GTR only has 17,000 miles on the clock when the owner took it to the Tail of the Dragon to take his shot at the infamous stretch of road, and he paid dearly for his inexperience. It takes only nine seconds to tell the story, as the driver comes into frame around a left corner, then goes into a curve to the right a little too fast and that’s all the mistake needed to send the car sliding off the road and into the trees with a sickening thud.

Hopefully the driver wasn’t injured and learned from this mistake before he tackles the Tail again!
