The NEW Fireball – First Start up in 2021 (This Thing is SICK!)
When drivers get serious with racing, naturally, the equipment that they use is going to follow. Sometimes, this might mean upgrading to a more comprehensive toolset. Other times, maybe it means something like a bigger stacker trailer. However, for those who are truly on the top of their game, they might even go so far as having different cars for different kinds of racing. At the end of the day, for somebody who is truly at the top of their game on the top tier of competition, putting one car through a lot of abuse can just be a little bit too much sometimes.
In Ryan Martin’s situation, not only was his car, Fireball, doing double duty and going through twice the strain. The car had to constantly be changed up, depending on which surface it was tackling. Constantly changing out components or even replacing damaged ones can definitely be a grind. Minimizing that grind guarantees that a driver and their team is going to have more time to focus on the things that matter. It’s easier to iron things out and get them right when they aren’t constantly being changed for different applications.
Fortunately, things have worked out in such a way for the one in only Ryan Martin that he is able to run more than one car to avoid these struggles. Instead of having a pair of cars to go back-and-forth with, fighting to get one car ready for multiple duties, the latest addition to the stable will hopefully make things go a bit more smoothly.
By following along with the video below, we get to check in with the machine that will strictly serve no prep duty. This particular combination shows the face of a sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro and features a ProCharged big block under the hood. If history is, in fact, an indicator of what we’re going to see in the future, we would keep an eye on this one. When Ryan Martin is the one behind the controls, we never know what kind of awesomeness might just happen.
